ISM Homes is a true design-and-build company. From the first architectural drawing to facilities management long after handover, every discipline your project needs lives in-house. Our teams handle architectural drawings and county approvals; structural engineering and foundations; mechanical engineering for water reticulation, sewage and drainage; electrical engineering; HVAC systems and fire protection; perimeter gates and security; landscaping; and complete interior design, exterior renders and fit-outs — all coordinated under a single project management umbrella, with a transparent bill of materials from day one.

Deep within the lush, serene embrace of Karen’s forest, we recently completed the Karen Forest Retreat — three meticulously crafted one-bedroom container homes, finished within three months and designed to maximise rental returns through long and short-term stays. In Isinya, Kajiado, two 40-foot containers became a chic and efficient 60-square-metre home with two ensuite bedrooms, an open-plan living and dining area, an upstairs balcony terrace and a covered wooden patio below.
At the foot of majestic Mt. Kenya stands the Dreamwood Nanyuki Home, a two-bedroom, two-level container home that redefines eco-luxury living — built within three months and marrying modern comfort with the unspoiled grandeur of the Kenyan wilderness. In the Maasai Mara, our eco-camp features an extraordinary open-air bathroom beneath an overhead skylight: an experience that blurs the line between indoor and outdoor living, where you shower beneath a canopy of stars to the gentle sounds of the river nearby.
On the coast, the Kwale Coastal Retreat pairs a spacious one-bedroom suite and elegant ensuite bathroom with a dedicated office space, all housed within two expertly modified 40-foot containers. And at our Thika yard, the Kickstarter Show Home — a one-bedroom, 30-square-metre starter home built in a swift two months — proves that compact living and modern convenience make a perfect first home or investment for anyone seeking a minimalist yet comfortable lifestyle. From family sanctuaries in Karen to the Blue Rhino’s outdoor bathtub under the Nanyuki stars, each project reflects the same promise: fast, robust, luxurious.
